  • A New Era: The Obama

Barak Obama's meteoric rise to the national political stage can only be described as a miracle. Prior to Obama period, such miracle could only occur in the fairy tales. It is such a historic event - rather a history making event - that has changed the world forever. Humanity may very well start a new historic point of reference; BO will refer to Before Obama and AO will refer to After Obama .

  • India: Past and The Future - Part I

Our modern financial and political affairs are knitted in the historical events of the Indian subcontinent - A very large percentage of the New World's gold and silver had ended up in India due to India's humongous trade surplus with Europe - Then, all of India's wealth ended up back in the vaults of Britain.

It was this wealth - looted from India - that provided the base for the Modern Financial System which is responsible for this economic mess we are in.

  • Presidential Candidates

    Hello Mr. President Obama

Are we ready for The Change? The unthinkable just a couple of decades ago - U S of A is certainly ready to have its first real President in black! I am already practicing Hello, Mr. President Obama.

The Time has been made to come for this history-making event. Thinking has been paved by the Hollywood - President Morgan Freeman and President Dennis Haysbert, both playing imposing and towering presidential characters, have projected the images of very powerful and patriotic presidents. Yes, America, we are ready for our first real black president.

Welcome to The White House, Mr. President Obama.

Yes, Barak Obama is the new president of the United States of America. No if and No but. Let me present the case for this presidential prediction.

As I have already pointed to the acceptance factor for a black president brought into existence by the Hollywood and the forces assigned to the task of image building, being black is not a major factor in the minds of the majority of the voters. It is really a non-factor to the majority of the voters.

Majority of the voters want change - a change to the continuation. Obama's slogan is "change". McCain on the other hand, rightly or wrongly, is seen as the symbol of continuation. War, unemployment, vanishing retirement savings, rising cost of living combined with shrinking earnings, tanking stock market, failing banks and gone-with-the-wind home equities have left no more appetite for the continuation. Voters are scared. They are scared for their future. They are scared for the future of their children. Even the die-hard conservatives are shaking their heads. NO- in their heart they know that nation is not going on to the right path. Change seems to be the common ground for the majority of the voters - conservative or non-conservative.

Majority of voters want a "really" well-educated, articulate, energetic and inspiring president. Sorry, Mr. McCain, Obama is the winner.

American voters are conditioned to the image of a "presidential" image - tall, well groomed, charming and imposing. Well, no need to say who is the winner here.

The Vice-President is seen as a potential president and the selection of the running mate is a major factor for the voters. Here we have Senator Joseph Biden vs. Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. Biden is 66 years old and is considered a veteran of foreign affaires. He compliments Obama's shortcomings in the field foreign affairs and age. He projects the "Presidential image" to American minds. Palin, on the other hand, is coming from, well, Alaska. Beside the bear hunting photos, there seems to be little to put confidence in voters' jittery minds, Sorry, McCain-Palin. Obama-Biden got the votes.

Voter demography is another major factor this time. As the current trend indicates, we will have a historic younger voter count. Almost half of the voters will be under 44 years old. Obama is their candidate. This voter demographic swing favors Obama-Biden team.

Obama is a phenomenon. He is not a non-persona emerging form the abyss of obscurity. He is a very well documented person. He has been well groomed, well documented and well prepared for this presidential event. The Event that is just about to unfold in front of our eyes.

    Man of The Year

In 2005 Time magazine named Barak Obam as one of the most influential men in the world. He had just been sworn as Illinois Senator. Since than Barack Obama has had a meteoric climb leading to the 2008 Presidential nomination. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1991, where he was the first African-American to edit Harvard Law Review. He then practiced civil-rights law, representing victims of housing and employment discrimination and working on voting-rights legislation.

In 1992 Obama married Michelle LaVaughn Robinson. The first Black First Lady in-waiting, Michelle Obama has engendered great curiosity, not just in what she says and how she behaves, but also in terms of her glam quotient. She has been touted as one of the World's 25 most inspiring women by Essence magazine, she has also been dubbed as among the World's top 10 best dressed people by Vanity Fair. While Sarah Palin is getting famous for her looks and style, Michelle Obama has made it to People magazine's Best Dressed List for 2008.

Barack Obama has acquired the status of the biggest celebrity in the world. As he told Congressional Democrats, he has become the "symbol" for the world's aspirations for America and that we are now at "the moment that the world is waiting for."--- How can one not agree with that statement - Recall Obama's visit to Europe - Only a celebrity of Barack Obama's magnitude could attract 200,000 fans in Berlin who gathered for the mere opportunity to be in his presence.

You see, Barak Obama is a Phenomenon. He is world's most well known emerging leader. Right or wrong , agree or disagree - Obama is The Change - And The Change is coming.

Here comes The President. The President of The United States of America, Barak Obama - National anthem please.
